I inaugurated the Food Ape Society in February 2025.
By studying culinary and artistic history, I discovered something important: food has always been the first language of people, the method for interacting with strangers and the thread that connects all cultures. This is why these apes are like images of what happens when we take a pause, breathe, and remember that every ingredient has a story, every dish carries ancestral wisdom, and every flavour is an invitation to discover someone else’s culture.
The food apes are a symbol of delicacies from all over the world, designed to remind us that food and awareness are languages everyone can understand and that connect people of different cultures in peace. These works highlight the richness of other cultures, the beauty of food, and how yoga can aid in meditation. They ask: “What if our food could help us be patient?” “What if our meals encourage us to breathe?” “What if every bite were a way to connect with civilisations we have never been part of?”
This collection leaves a digital legacy that recognises the link between cuisine, culture and life with purpose. These things will remind us in the future of a time when we chose to celebrate differences, honour culinary wisdom and remember that peace begins with understanding, which often starts with sharing a meal.
When you own a Food Ape, you take care of a piece of culinary history. We are all working together to create a living record of our shared culinary memories, where each owner can tell their own story, their own culture and their own connection with food.

Holders could have early access to my new works, commission custom pieces and receive invitations to various courses and events, online and in real life. Part of the proceeds from each sale of the collection could be used to fund the next exhibition, event or occasion to showcase works by new artists. I want the Food Ape Society to be a community where we all work together, valuing each person’s work, sharing opportunities and creating things together.
This collection invites you to help keep ethnic diversity alive by sharing stories that only you can tell.
The Food Ape Society is a means to be part of something real, a group that appreciates cultural diversity, creative cuisine, mindful living and real human connections through the sharing of stories and experiences. I need your help to build this world. I cannot make it alone.
The first step to living a mindful life and celebrating culture is to take a single breath. Do you want to join us?
