What is the concept behind this piece?
The choice of subject is intriguing. The man, ostensibly overwhelmed by the bounty of food, carries an expression of weary resignation, his eyes filled with a complex mixture of contemplation and fatigue. He becomes the epicentre of this chaotic tempest, a living still life, embodying the duality of attraction and revulsion. The crimson lobsters, with their long, reaching antennae, appear as though they are both attacking and crowning the subject, a poignant juxtaposition of royalty and predation.
TheFoodMaster's colour palette is both rich and moody. Deep greens and muted browns dominate, with splashes of vibrant reds and oranges providing a visual contrast that mirrors the theme of Tasty vs. Grotesque. Absolutely thrilled to share a moment that's dear to my artistic soul with all of you. As an artist, I've always sought to bring to the forefront critical issues related to food and nutrition, through varied mediums - photography, paintings, or AI. This isn't just a creative pursuit; it's a continuous fight to raise awareness about the lurking dangers of unhealthy eating habits and food disorders.
Funny insert: If burgers were to hold a protest against us for abusing their yumminess, would we get picket signs made of fries? 😂 Food for thought...literally!
Now, on a prouder note: My work, "Hamburger Invasions", was exhibited, even if temporarily, in Craiova, Romania, courtesy of the fabulous @ArtBeesGallery. A HUGE thank you to @none32X32 for the curation and @Joynxyz for connecting the dots. 🙌
